As I began my adult life, I distinctly recall wanting to achieve success in my personal and professional life while having a positive impact on those around me. Early on, I didn't know how to accomplish these goals but kept my eyes open for opportunities.

In 1983, I discovered the credit union movement, which is focused on providing service and support to others. The philosophy of credit unions is based on two core values - "people helping people" and the idea that credit unions are "not for profit, not for charity, but for service." That year, I began my career in the credit union movement and joined WV Central as a member.

Stuff the Bus

West Virginia Central Federal Credit Union is proud to once again support community schools through our annual Stuff the Bus program! Our Stuff the Bus effort provides funds to area teachers to purchase school supplies for their classrooms.

Stuff the Bus funds are distributed in surrounding counties within our field of membership, which include Wood, Pleasants, Ritchie, Wirt, and Jackson county, WestVirginia, as well as Washington county, Ohio.
