| Q: What is securities trading? |
A: Securities trading refers to the buying and selling of tradable assets, such as stocks, bonds and other financial instruments. Securities trading involve risk, include possible loss of principal. |

Q: Where do I access the investment platform?
|
A: You can access the West Virginia Central Federal Credit Union Personal Investment Portal in our online or mobile banking app. You will see Personal Investment Portal on the left side menu.

Q: Where are my investments stored?
|
A: The cash and securities are held in your brokerage account at a qualified custodian, RQD* Clearing LLC. RQD is the executing broker of traders and custodies assets of all customers on behalf of InvestiFi Securities. Please review your InvestiFi Securities customer agreement for more information.

Q: What is risk tolerance?
|
A: Risk tolerance is the level of risk an investor is willing and able to take when investing their money. |
| Q: What is Guided Investing? |
A: Guided Investing is an automated investment tool that recommends and manages a portfolio based on your risk tolerance, financial goals and preferences. It uses automated monitoring to rebalance your portfolio on a quarterly basis.

A: To retake your Risk Tolerance Questionnaire, please click on the Guided Investing account card on your homepage, then select “Retake Questionnaire” to submit your updated responses. Please note: This must be done prior to making a deposit into your Guided Investing portfolio. |

Q: Are my investments taxable?
|
A: InvestiFi, InvestiFi Securities and AdvisiFi do not provide tax advice. For specific questions, you should consult a tax professional. You can find your transaction history in the documents section of the Personal Investment Portal*.

Q: Is my financial institution a registered broker/dealer?
|
A: No, West Virginia Central Federal Credit Union is not a broker dealer, does not offer the investments and the investments are not insured by the NCUA. All securities and brokerage services are offered by InvestiFi Securities LLC, member FINRA/SIPC. However, your financial institution has partnered with InvestiFi Securities LLC (InvestiFi Securities) as your registered broker dealer. You will become a customer of InvestiFi Securities and open a brokerage account prior to being able to trade. Your InvestiFi Securities brokerage account will be held with RQD* Clearing LLC, a registered broker dealer and InvestiFi Securities’s clearing broker. InvestiFi Securities and RQD are members of FINRA and SIPC. |
| Q: What is an Exchange-Traded Fund (EFT)? |
A: An exchange-traded fund (EFT) is a type of passively managed investment that is traded on a stock exchange, much like an individual stock. ETFs are designed to track the performance of a specific index, sector, or asset class, such as stocks, bonds, or commodities. ETFs allow investors to get exposure to a wide range of assets within a single security. |

Q: What happens to my portfolio if I close my WVCCU account?
|
A: You will have to either sell or liquidate all of your account positions or transfer whole shares to another broker-dealer before you close your credit union membership. Otherwise, you will need to speak with InvestiFi Securities regarding trades in your brokerage account after your credit union account has been closed. Please see the InvestiFi Securities Customer Agreement or speak with a InvestiFi Securities for more information on closing your account.
Buy and sell transactions and dividends paid are only able to be posted to a checking account at West Virginia Central Federal Credit Union. Closing the checking account will result in the inability to place an order to buy a security, and sell transactions and dividends not being deposited to your Credit Union account.

Q: I received an email or a phone call that I am not sure is legitimate, how can I tell?
|
A: Members will receive emails in accordance with regulations from InvestiFi Securities, AdvisiFi or RQD Clearing or phone calls from InvestiFi Securities. Examples of those communications include:
- AdvisiFi will email you if there are material changes to regulatory related communications such as the Customer Relationship Summary or the Disclosures Brochure. They will also contact you if there are questions about your investment profile.
- InvestiFi Securities will email or call you if there are servicing related questions including clarification of questions answered during onboarding.
- RQD will email you to notify you that your statement and / or confirmation is ready for review.
