April is National Credit Union Youth Month, that time of year when credit unions emphasize teaching and encouraging kids to develop strong financial habits. 

It's never too early to start teaching financial responsibility. Start them off right with a KODA Youth Savings Account.

Matching Cash Deposits 

We want to help encourage and reward our young savers. This year during the month of April 2026 we will match CASH deposits up to $20.00* for our Youth Accounts. 

Adults making a CASH deposit to a Youth Account will be matched up to $15.00.*

Kids coming in and making a CASH deposit to their Youth Account will be matched up to $20.00.*

All NEW Youth Accounts opened during April with a CASH deposit will be matched up to $20.00.*

If these new accounts are for children between 0 and 6 months, they will also receive the $50 New Birth Deposit. 

*Deposits must be CASH, made to a Youth Savings Account, limited to one match deposit per member/account during the month of April 2026.

Those who make deposits in the month of April will be put into a drawing to win a Nintendo Switch 2!

Youth Month Coloring Contest

During the month of April, we will be holding a coloring contest. At the end of the month, three winners will be chosen from the submitted entries. The selected winners will received WV Central swag items.

You can choose from one of two coloring sheets for your entry. Download the pages below and return to a WV Central location before April 30th.  A coloring sheet may also be picked up from any one of our locations.
