Commonwealth Financial Services, an independent financial services team, was founded in 2003 by Roger Woodruff, Todd Kimpel and Michael Seese with the belief that the interest of the clients must always come first. By focusing in on their individual strengths, and a combined 81 years industry experience, they knew clients would be better served using a team based approach. This approach provides CFS with a vast range of resources as well as a remarkable level of service. An expanded team also gives us the ability to establish closer relationships with our clients and provide financial education in our local communities. We believe that there are two types of losses, a loss of capital and a loss of opportunity. If we protect the capital we will always have other opportunities. This is accomplished by having a sell discipline within our investment management strategy. By limiting the number of clients added to our practice each year, our dedicated team of professionals is able to provide our client’s with the highest level of service.
Our investment philosophy is implemented using a fee based approach. We believe the most important investment decisions include asset allocation and trending in and out of the market. This allocation is based upon the investor’s attitude, circumstances, risk taking capacity and market trends.
