A recent audit (February 2003) found some members whose insurance agents did not list the credit union as Loss Payee (Lienholder) on the Declaration Page (Policy), some members had not followed up on obtaining policies for new purchases or terminated insurances, and some member policies had incorrect Vehicle Identification Numbers (VIN) on the policy information. 
    If members were classified in any of the above mentioned scenarios, letters from the credit union were sent out requesting the information as well as a follow up letter to the first.  If we did not receive the information requested , insurance was forced place against the loan effective 5/31/03.   This insurance comes at a very high premium. If you received a letter and you provided the correct insurance  information the added insurance did not effect you.  If not, please double check with your insurance agent  and call the credit union today.   Premiums can be pro-rated.
