"People Helping People" not just
a talking point, but a way of life for West Virginia Central Credit Union. Being here to
help our fellow members is not just important to staff members or the Board of Directors,
but also to each and every member. We all pool our savings and investment dollars so as to
allow loans to be made and services offered. The returns on deposits, rates charged on
loans and the low cost services are day-to-day examples of our way of life. All members
play an important role and any success achieved is shared with all.
As we strive to go further, the credit union is attempting to provide financial training
to interested members. We are currently trying to meet this very important goal in three
ways:
1. Bright Future Loan Program - This program is designed to provide small loans to members
in need, while providing financial management training. Consumer Credit Counseling
provides the educational sessions and the cost for the training is absorbed by the credit
union.
2. To aid members as they prepare for the holiday seasons. Consumer Credit Counseling will

I am sure that you will be hearing more from us on these programs in the future. We
believe that the offering of this type of training is not only beneficial to all but
absolutely necessary as we all strive for a better tomorrow.
